Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Houston, TX 77081 | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Pay: $17/hour

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM + rotating Saturday (every 8 weeks)

Location: Houston, TX 77081


The Toll Road Call Center (TRCC) is seeking dedicated and professional Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to join our team. In this role, you will handle inbound and outbound calls to collect payments for various clients across the country, following all FDCPA guidelines.

CSR performance is measured using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:

  • Average call handle time
  • Call notation time
  • Number of calls handled daily

This is a fast-paced call center environment, so candidates must be comfortable navigating multiple screens, notating accounts quickly, and communicating professionally with customers.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to perform simple math calculations
  • Ability to toggle between multiple computer systems
  • Strong listening, verbal communication, and professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to effectively handle escalated or difficult calls
  • Knowledge of FDCPA, HIPAA, and state/local collections laws (preferred)
  • Capability to obtain required state licenses (preferred)
  • Ability to navigate the CUBS system efficiently
  • Strong organization when processing payments
